Maressey - Last Night I Dreamt That Somepony Loved Me
This is the second track of the upcoming Flutterdash album. Alone in the dark, Scootaloo is again revisited by all the problems of her life. Orphaned, crippled, and utterly lost; Will she ever realize her dreams that are denied her and find the love she needs? This is the fourteenth track from the Maressey project, a ponified cover of The Smiths classic.

Adapted Lyrics:
Last night I dreamt
that somepony loved me
no hope — no mom
just another false alarm
Last night I dreamed
the wind rushing around me
no hope — no harm
just another false alarm
so, tell me how long
before the last one?
and tell me how long
before i get my mark?!!
this story is old — I KNOW
but it goes on
this story is old — I KNOW
but it goes on
it goes on and on…
This is a ponified cover of The Smiths original classic. “Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me” is a song by The Smiths. It was released as a single in December 1987, reaching No. 30 in the UK Singles Chart. It was the group’s final single (barring re-issues) and was the last of three singles from the band’s album Strangeways, Here We Come. The introduction consists of a piano playing against a backdrop of crowd noises from the miners’ strike. You can get that original here https://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/the-smiths/
