Being Pinkie’s older sister, she saw her abandoned into her dreary world, brighten it, but then begged her to eventually leave. The humbling position of having to submit your work to an anonymous panel who is flooded with a multitude of submissions is a difficult thing. While we often blame the judges for our problems, we so rarely ask, have we as creators done enough to really merit any eventual success we ask for?
