Berry Punch’s death by the bottle shows that even places like Ponyville often have neighbor avoiding neighbor. Are humans and ponies really that different?
From Maressey - The Brony Album https://maressey.bandcamp.com/album/the-brony-album Francis Vace vocals, Zatslol (intro + outro guitars), and Freewave (remainder of the music + the mixing)(and of course thanks to the original track by The Smiths).
Equestria Daily: “A new track from Maressey, I Want The One I Can’t Have features vocals from Zatslol and a strong instrumental from Johnny Mare. Whilst this kind of thing is always a bit of a touchy subject, I feel like this track approaches the subject matter pretty tastefully and with great production value, Zatslol’s vocals especially shine strongly in this track. Make sure to check it out”
This is the final song from the Rarijack album….Rarity is overcome by the difficulties of her new life in Manehattan while assisting on the fashion designs for a doomed wedding party. After a long day, she tries to sleep, but keeps dreaming of her family and the past. Things go from bad to worse after she finally opens a letter from AJ, informing her of the formal end to their relationship. Her life comes crashing down around her, as she realizes she now has lost everything in the pursuit of her career. It’s also originally a classic by The Smiths.
Vocals for this track are by the amazing Metal Mare. Also known as the Warbalist’s wife, her performance just blew me away and she brought such a great closer to this part of the project. The Warbalist did a wonderful and time consuming job of assembling all the music for this track w/o the help of any midi tracks. Thanks so much for all the work done on this closer. Both are on this channel https://www.youtube.com/user/warbalist/
Thanks to all those supporting the Maressey project and getting the word out. Tumblr is here: http://mlpmaressey.tumblr.com/ If you like it let us and EQD know. The full Rarijack Album is out containing this track and 9 others. Grab it here (it’s free).. http://maressey.blogspot.com/
Rarity and Applejack have a romantic evening planned, leaving Sweetie Belle to stay the evening at Button’s house. What the young ponies have built up in their minds is quickly and unexpectedly extinguished. The evening turns into an awkward disaster as they continually misinterpret what the other is thinking and feeling throughout the night. This is also a ponified cover of The Smiths classic.
As Braeburn and Big Mac head back to Appleloosa, Rarity and Applejack continue to squabble at the Apple ranch. Underneath their years of conflict lies a hidden longing that boils to the surface. Rarity is the first to let her feelings be known and Applejack soon reveals they are mutual. What they must soon deal with are the repercussions; will their families and friends understand their choice when the former antagonists become lovers? This is another song/chapter from the upcoming Rarijack album. It’s also originally a Smiths classic track.
Dubstep invades Ponyville and many ponies have just had their fill of it and are furious by their sleepless nights and vibrating buildings. Applejack in particular says enough is enough and burns down the local danceclub right outside her farm early one morning. She accidentally sets off a musical backlash that affects all corners of Equestria with dj’s fleeing for their lives as mobs of ponies protest against EDM. This track is of course a ponified version of The Smiths classic track. Enjoy.
Coco Pommel has a passion for fashion but her time in Manehattan has been anything but what she dreamed it would be. Long hours of making dresses from other’s patterns, an abusive boss, and no one around to look out for her, is there any reason she shouldn’t be a bit sad in the big city? This is also a ponifed cover of The Smiths classic track.
