Being Pinkie’s older sister, she saw her abandoned into her dreary
world, brighten it, but then begged her to eventually leave. In the end
it was the best decision for Pinkie but it also left a lonely emptiness
in Maude’s life that she feels still.

The humbling position of having to submit your work to an anonymous panel who is flooded with a multitude of submissions is a difficult thing. While we often blame the judges for our problems, we so rarely ask, have we as creators done enough to really merit any eventual success we ask for?

Without them creating the original tracks this tribute or the music contained would not be possible. Their exploration of loneliness, sex, gender, love, and loss I felt could be translated into our own fimfiction of these characters and comment on ourselves. This album deals less with our inspirations (ponies) and more with all the aspects of the brony fandom itself and the weird and wonderful stories we have to tell.
I have to thank quite a few people who have made an idea 3+ years ago into a realized 20+ person group project. Thanks to the wonderful people below who have helped throughout this project. They are all such incredibly talented and wonderful musicians and they have made this project all possible. Once upon a time there was this nifty little project named Maressey. It got out 2 underground cool indie rock pony inspired tribute albums but promised one or two more. After a few weeks of listening to old wip tracks and with a promise of some summer free time and a breath of self confidence I’d love to see if we could complete the Twilogy. Technically there’s enough tracks for the initial thought of 4 albums but best to aim for a large third album if we can’t get to all of them!
A lot of tracks are done that need to be a part of this and those that aren’t have mostly completed instrumentals. But it would be a shame to have 70-80% of a third album done and just not complete it or release it. So rather then keep in retirement, I’d like to get ‘er DONE this summer! Calling out to all Maressey alumni and anyone else vocally interested and capable.

Rainbow Dash leaves for Cloudsdale to finally join the Wonderbolts, abandoning Fluttershy, Scootaloo, and her friends to pursue her lifelong dream. Scootaloo in desperation chases after her, but eventually finds herself lost and housed in a charity hostel in Cloudsdale. She is now a very long way from where she ever intended to be.

Scootaloo is infatuated with Rainbow Dash, wanting to spend every moment
with her idol. Rainbow Dash is bored of her bland relationship with
Fluttershy and appreciates the devout attention. The unbalanced and
unhealthy relationship is a hardship for the young pegasus. It’s clear
she cares so much more about Dash, but is not old enough, or ready, for a
companionship that she desperately wants (and is not getting).
